Artist's Description
As in most abstract images, viewers are likely to see different things in this image. I tend to see a silhouetted profile of a strange, perhaps alien, being; hence, the title. I suppose that my impression might have been flavored by seeing the iconic veiled silhouette of Alfred Hitchcock at the start of each episode of his 1950s and early 1960s television series.
This image is part of my Spy vs. Spy Series. The series name is an homage to the iconic Mad magazine feature. The images in this series share little with the Spy vs. Spy comic strip except for the stark contrast between black and white, with no grayscale in between.
