Artist's Description
The title of this image was inspired by the Dire Straits song of the same name and by my impression of row after row of factories and their smokestacks. But other viewers see a cityscape of houses and their chimneys.
This image is part of my Spy vs. Spy Series. The series name is an homage to the iconic Mad magazine feature. The images in this series share little with the Spy vs. Spy comic strip except for the stark contrast between black and white, with no grayscale in between.
