Millefiori is a method for making decorative glassware items by fusing a bundle of multicolored glass rods together and then cutting across to produce beautiful flower patterns. The term comes from the Italian words "mille" (thousand) and "fiori" (flowers). Millefiori is used to make colorful glass paperweights and other items.
