Artist's Description
A petroglyph is an image created by removing part of a rock surface by incising, picking, carving, or abrading, as a form of rock art. Outside North America, scholars often use terms such as "carving", "engraving", or other descriptions of the technique to refer to such images. Petroglyphs are found worldwide, and are often associated with prehistoric peoples. - Wikipedia
The image here was inspired by the Fremont Indian petroglyphs in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah.

About Vic Eberly
I created most of the images that you see here using Ultra Fractal, a versatile and powerful software program. Some of my images are classic fractals, with repeating patterns at smaller or larger scales. But I often depart from that style. I love to experiment. While all of my images are abstract, I try to emulate a photographic look, evoke a mood, or create shapes that may stimulate the memories of the viewer. Welcome to my galleries.
