Artist's Description
"What's the frequency, Kenneth?"
In 1986 Dan Rather, the evening news anchor for CBS-TV, was attacked while walking along Park Avenue in New York City. He was punched from behind by a man who demanded to know "Kenneth, what is the frequency?" while a second assailant chased and beat him. As the assailant pummeled and kicked Rather, he kept repeating the question. Rather had no idea who the men were or what they were after, and the assailants weren't identified or apprehended. The bizarre incident remained a mystery until ten years later, when the assailant was identified during the course of a separate incident. The assailant claimed that he thought television networks were beaming signals into his brain, and he was trying to identify the specific frequency so that he could block it.

About Vic Eberly
I created most of the images that you see here using Ultra Fractal, a versatile and powerful software program. Some of my images are classic fractals, with repeating patterns at smaller or larger scales. But I often depart from that style. I love to experiment. While all of my images are abstract, I try to emulate a photographic look, evoke a mood, or create shapes that may stimulate the memories of the viewer. Welcome to my galleries.
