Description
A somewhat graphic abstract with deep ridges, intricate patterns, and many 'holes'. The holes remind me of stomata. Stomata are tiny holes in the outer covering of plant leaves that can be opened or closed to allow the exchange of gases out of and into the plant's cells. Stomata are the means by which plants 'inhale' carbon dioxide and 'exhale' the oxygen upon which we all rely.
The title is my playful take on 'Toccata and Fugue in D Minor', a well-known musical composition by Johann Sebastian Bach. And as a pleasant surprise, I like the music as an accompaniment to the image.
